[{"data":1,"prerenderedAt":-1},["ShallowReactive",2],{"api-blogs-band-7-is-predictable-context-detail":3,"home-page":64,"api-blogs-per-page-20":362},{"id":4,"title":5,"slug":6,"subtitle":7,"description":8,"video":9,"published_at":10,"image":11,"authors":12,"categories":19,"seo":24,"seo_context":63},86,"How to Get Band 7+ in IELTS","band-7-is-predictable","আমি বছরের পর বছর ধরে students দের Band 7+ পেতে দেখেছি। এবং একটা জিনিস আমি confidently বলতে পারি","\u003Ch1>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">“Band 7 পাওয়া অনেক কঠিন”—IELTS preparation শুরু করার পর এই কথাটা প্রায় প্রতিটি student কোনো না কোনো সময় শুনে থাকে। কেউ বলে Band 7 পেতে হলে খুব advanced English জানতে হয়, কেউ বলে এটা শুধু naturally fluent speakers-দের জন্য, আবার কেউ মনে করে exam day-তে luck ভালো থাকলে Band 7 পাওয়া যায়। কিন্তু বাস্তবতা হলো, IELTS Band 7 কোনো magic না, কোনো accident না, এবং এটা শুধুমাত্র lucky students-দের জন্যও না। Band 7 is predictable, achievable, and completely plannable — যদি আপনি জানেন examiner কী দেখছে, কোথায় marks কাটছে, এবং কীভাবে targeted practice করতে হয়।\u003C/span>\u003C/h1>\u003Cp>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">বছরের পর বছর ধরে অনেক students-কে IELTS Speaking-এ Band 7+ পেতে দেখা গেছে। তাদের সবার English একরকম ছিল না, background একরকম ছিল না, confidence level-ও একরকম ছিল না। কিন্তু তাদের মধ্যে একটি common বিষয় ছিল — তারা random practice করেনি। তারা জানত Band 7 পেতে হলে কোন skill গুলো develop করতে হবে এবং কোন mistakes গুলো avoid করতে হবে। তাই Band 7 lucky দের জন্য না; Band 7 prepared দের জন্য।\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Band 7 আসলে কী চায়?\u003C/span>\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">IELTS examiner আপনার কাছ থেকে perfect English আশা করে না। Examiner দেখতে চায় আপনি real-life communication situation-এ কতটা clearly, naturally এবং logically English ব্যবহার করতে পারেন। IELTS Speaking test চারটি main criteria অনুযায়ী assess করা হয়:\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Fluency & Coherence — আপনি কি naturally কথা বলতে পারছেন? আপনার answer কি logically connected? আপনি কি unnecessary pause ছাড়া idea develop করতে পারছেন?\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Lexical Resource — আপনি কি varied এবং appropriate vocabulary ব্যবহার করছেন? একই শব্দ বারবার repeat করছেন, নাকি topic অনুযায়ী better word choice দেখাতে পারছেন?\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Grammatical Range & Accuracy — আপনি কি শুধু simple sentence বলছেন, নাকি different sentence structures ব্যবহার করতে পারছেন? আপনার grammar কি communication বুঝতে বাধা তৈরি করছে?\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Pronunciation — আপনার কথা কি clearly বোঝা যাচ্ছে? আপনার pronunciation, stress, intonation এবং rhythm কি listener-friendly?\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">এই চারটি criteria-র প্রতিটিতে Band 7-এর specific expectation আছে। তাই Band 7 কোনো guess work না। এটা a known target. আপনি যদি target জানেন, তাহলে practice-ও targeted হতে পারে।\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Band 7 Students কিভাবে আলাদা?\u003C/span>\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">অনেক students মনে করে Band 7 পাওয়ার জন্য খুব difficult vocabulary, complex grammar বা memorized answers দরকার। বাস্তবে Band 7 students সাধারণত এর উল্টো কাজ করে। তারা English-কে overcomplicate করে না। তারা examiner-কে impress করার চেষ্টা না করে clearly communicate করার চেষ্টা করে। Band 7 level students perfect হওয়ার চেষ্টা করে না; তারা clear, organized এবং natural হওয়ার চেষ্টা করে। তারা big words use করে শুধু দেখানোর জন্য না; বরং right word, right context-এ use করে। তারা grammar rules মুখস্থ রেখে কথা বলে না; repeated practice-এর মাধ্যমে sentence structures naturally use করতে শেখে। তারা common topics মুখস্থ করে না; বরং idea generate, extend এবং explain করতে পারে। এবং সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় হলো, তারা exam day-তে প্রথমবার speaking practice করে না। তারা আগে থেকেই real exam-style practice করে রাখে। এই কারণেই Band 7 students অনেক সময় খুব simple English ব্যবহার করেও ভালো score পায়। কারণ তাদের answers clear, connected, confident এবং understandable হয়।\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">কেন বেশিরভাগ Students Band 6-এ আটকে থাকে?\u003C/span>\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Band 6 এবং Band 7-এর মধ্যে gap অনেক সময় English knowledge-এর না; gap থাকে strategy, practice method এবং awareness-এর। অনেক students ভালো English জানে, কিন্তু exam criteria অনুযায়ী perform করতে পারে না। ফলে তারা বারবার Band 6 বা 6.5-এ আটকে যায়। অনেক learner same vocabulary বারবার repeat করে। যেমন সবকিছুর জন্য “good”, “nice”, “important”, “very” — এসব basic word ব্যবহার করে। এতে Lexical Resource score limited হয়ে যায়। আবার অনেকেই Part 1-এ খুব short answer দেয়। Examiner জিজ্ঞেস করল, “Do you like reading?” Student উত্তর দিল, “Yes, I like reading.” এই answer grammatically ঠিক হলেও Band 7 level fluency দেখায় না। আরেকটি common problem হলো grammatical range. অনেক students শুধু simple sentence use করে। যেমন, “I like books. Books are useful. I read books every day.” এগুলো ভুল না, কিন্তু Band 7-এর জন্য variety দরকার। একইভাবে nervousness-এর কারণে pronunciation affected হয়, speaking speed uneven হয়, এবং answer delivery weak হয়ে যায়। ভালো news হলো — এই problems গুলো fixable. যদি আপনি জানেন কোন area-তে কাজ করতে হবে, তাহলে Band 7-এর দিকে systematic improvement সম্ভব।\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Band 7 Predictably Achieve করার Strategy\u003C/span>\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">প্রথম কাজ হলো examiner descriptor বুঝে practice করা। IELTS Speaking Band Descriptor দেখে আপনি বুঝতে পারবেন examiner exactly কী evaluate করছে। অনেক students শুধু random questions practice করে, কিন্তু তারা জানে না কোন answer Band 6, কোন answer Band 7, আর কোন answer Band 8 level. Descriptor বুঝলে আপনার practice অনেক বেশি focused হবে।\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">দ্বিতীয় strategy হলো answer extend করা। Part 1-এ প্রতিটি answer minimum তিনটি sentence-এ বলার চেষ্টা করুন: direct answer + reason + example. যেমন, “Yes, I enjoy reading, especially self-development books. I think reading helps me understand new ideas and improve my vocabulary. For example, I usually read a few pages before sleeping because it helps me relax.” এই simple formula fluency এবং coherence দুটোই improve করে।\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">তৃতীয় strategy হলো vocabulary variation practice করা। “Good” বলার পরিবর্তে context অনুযায়ী “beneficial”, “effective”, “valuable”, “impressive”, “remarkable” ব্যবহার করা যায়। তবে মনে রাখতে হবে, difficult word use করাই goal না; accurate word use করাই goal. একটি topic নিয়ে ৫–৭টি useful words এবং phrases practice করুন। যেমন education topic-এ: learning environment, academic pressure, practical knowledge, communication skills, long-term career growth — এগুলো natural phrases হিসেবে practice করা যায়।\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">চতুর্থ strategy হলো complex structure mix করা। শুধু simple sentence নয়, মাঝে মাঝে “Although…”, “Even though…”, “Despite the fact that…”, “Not only… but also…”, “One of the main reasons is that…” — এই ধরনের structures ব্যবহার করুন। তবে forcefully নয়। Naturalভাবে use করতে হবে। Grammar range দেখাতে হলে আপনাকে different structures ব্যবহার করতে হবে, কিন্তু accuracy নষ্ট করা যাবে না।\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">পঞ্চম strategy হলো mock test এবং feedback. নিজের speaking record করুন, শুনুন, এবং identify করুন কোথায় pause বেশি, কোথায় vocabulary repeat হচ্ছে, কোথায় grammar weak, আর কোথায় pronunciation unclear.
